I have always been drawn to the aesthetic of vintage Volkswagen vehicles. When I was in college, my car broke down and I nearly bought a 1968 Volkswagen Bug before deciding it would be more practical to get something more “reliable” (a decision I regret to this day). Now, I settle for my little diecast Volkswagens that live on my desk. This illustration is the embodiment of wholesome joy, and my ability to be my truest self with my loving husband.
