Little Warrior

This piece was inspired by the fear every child seems to face at bedtime, and the bravery they have to show each night with a fear of the dark when it is time to put out the lights. No matter how hard a parent may try, it’s not always possible to explain that there is nothing to fear, and have your child actually believe you. In an attempt to show the bravery of my niece (and children everywhere), I created this fun painting. Monsters at bedtime are no match for this little warrior and her trusty sidekick.
