If Upstate New York has one thing to offer, it’s beauty. Each season comes with different striking and awe inspiring views, and one of the most memorable is fall. The intent of this painting was to show the vivid colors that are on display, to bring to mind for the viewer crisp, cool air and the sound of leaves crunching beneath their feet.
Daring to Try Something New…
This is a style I didn’t have much experience in throughout my years as an artist. Over time, I began moving away from my focus on photorealism and shifted towards a more stylized approach. I feel this helps capture the energy and mood of a piece.
